En este evento se inscribieron un total de 112 malac\u00f3logos y finalmente asistieron 102, entre ellos destacados y prestigiosos investigadores argentinos. Durante el 3CAM se dictaron cuatro conferencias plenarias que abarcaron un variado espectro de temas y se presentaron 42 contribuciones libres en forma oral y otras 43 en forma de p\u00f3ster. Adem\u00e1s, se desarrollaron cinco simposios, una mesa redonda, un taller y una editat\u00f3n.
